Global best-selling Skyestream S60 application, SkyeCaller PRO, gets a 'once-over.' Bigger, beefier and now better!

SkyeCaller PRO has been one of the top selling S60 applications since its launch earlier this year regularly occupying the coveted 'Best Selling Application' on the Nokia Software Market channel.

Skyestream's loyal customers have tirelessly given their time and effort in sending us their comments, views and observations on how SkyeCaller PRO can be further improved. We have listened. The result is an even more compelling version release with numerous enhancements and bug fixes.

Skyestream's Chief Technical Officer, Mike Madsen, outlines the version 1.01 added features and fixes:

- Improved handling of large image file sizes (no more "out of memory" error)
- Application does not close unnecessarily in low memory conditions
- Scanning of sub-folders for content (videos/images/sounds)
- Bug fix: application no longer closes when entering the "Images" view
- Bug fix: incoming messages are now detected if user's Inbox is stored on the memory card
- Improved handling of key-lock state
- Video thumbnails displayed if available
- Improved support for landscape/portrait on incoming/outgoing call/text-message
- Icons displayed in contrasting colour to the background colour
- Support added for renamed and user-created device profiles
- Bug fix: incoming calls from 'private numbers' are detected
- Support added for backup and restore
