Installation Instructions: |
| Skyestream applications are distributed in a form of a SIS file, which is the Symbian Operating System standard for installation files. The installation process involves two steps: |
|
1.
|
Copying the SIS file to your handset (discussed below) |
|
2.
|
Running the SIS file using your on-device file manager |
|

Copying a SIS file to your handset: |
| There are a number of alternate ways to get a SIS file onto your handset. Each alternate is discussed below. |
| Using PC Suite PC Suite is a standard Nokia software used to synchronize handset information with a PC. You'll need to have the handset connected to the PC for this to work. |

Download SIS file to your PC/Mac desktop computer |

Run PC Suite on your desktop computer |
|
|
Look for the "Install software" option and select the downloaded SIS file |
| Using email You'll need to have a working email connection for this to work. |
|
|
Email the SIS file (as the mail attachment) to your email account |
|
|
Download the email |
|
|
Save the attachment to the handset memory/MMC or run the SIS file directly from the mail Inbox |
| Using WAP If you are able to access WAP pages from your handset, download any Skyestream SIS application file from this address: http://wap.skyestream.com After successful SIS file download, the Nokia install guide will take you through the rest of the installation process step-by-step. |
| Other alternatives There are other ways to install a SIS file onto your handset. |

Beam the SIS file via Bluetooth either from a PC or another handset (handset client software may be required for this) |
|
|
Copy the SIS file to the MMC card, insert the card into the phone and install it from there |
|
|
Use Skyestream applications 'Send to Friend' option via the application menu path and send the application download URL to a friend via Bluetooth or Text Message. This method essentially makes use of the WAP download process noted above. |
