COMMON INSTALLATION PROBLEMS

Installation error "Certificate error"
There are a number of things that could cause this error. Follow the instructions in steps 1, 2 and 3 below, to fix this problem.

1. Date and time
The date and time must be correctly set for installation to proceed. Do you have the correct date and time set on your phone? Please check that this is correct before continuing.

2. Security settings
You may need to adjust some settings in the application manager on your phone. Some operators enable (by default) high security for installed applications. Some versions of our applications do not have a recognised security signature and therefore fail this check. The fix is to simply turn off this checking when installing this product. You may always turn it back on again afterwards.

* From the main menu, select the "Tools" folder.
* Once there, select the "Manager" application.
* Select "Options" and "Settings" from the Options menu.
* For "Software installation" select "On"
* For "Online certif. check" select "Off"
* Select "Back"
* Select "Exit"

3. Correct install file
Are you sure you have the correct install file for your handset? Once the date and time are correctly set, and the security settings have been changed, please download the and install the correct install file for your product from our download page: > go to download page





Installation error: "Installation not supported"
This error occurs usually when the incorrect installation file is being used. Try using the correct installation file from our download page: > go to download page




Installation error: Unable to download file for installation.
Sometimes customers have some trouble downloading the required installation file from one of our partner portals.
